Idea Visual Impairment Conference “See Invisible” 

The idea of ​​VIC was born in 2016. in response to the observed needs of the blind and visually impaired people.
The aim of the conference is to popularize knowledge and the latest scientific reports on the functioning of people with visual disabilities, disseminate good practices, and discuss in an interdisciplinary group of scientists, practitioners, as well as blind and partially sighted people and their families. The conference is directed, among others to educators, psychologists, sociologists, representatives of medical and technical sciences.

The conference also includes workshops for primary, secondary and university students. During the classes, participants gain basic knowledge about blind and partially sighted people and can empathize with their situation by performing everyday activities with blindfolded. The date of the conference is related to the International Day of the Blind, celebrated annually on November 13.
